Etna Bechem Lubricants LTD. recently participated in Ford Motor Company’s 7th Global Noise and Vibration Conference held in Dearborn, Michigan. The June 12, 13, and 14 technical conference featured presentations and exhibits from 24 selected “Top NVH Technology” suppliers. Ford’s theme for the event was “Smart NVH Technology – Upfront delivery of efficient, advanced designs to meet global customer satisfaction”. The purpose of the conference was to share NVH technologies, methods and best practices within the global Ford engineering community. A total of 77 technical presentations covering all aspects of automotive sound and vibration were given.
As the only lubricant supplier participating, Etna Bechem, showcased Carl Bechem’s specialized Ford NVH kit during its presentation. The kit features Bechem’s products that are Ford labeled and approved. The presentation also discussed the range of lifetime lubricants and anti-friction coatings developed specifically for automotive NVH issues. Etna Bechem representatives also discussed ways in which it is working with Ford’s supply base to provide effective NVH lubricant solutions in the design phase of automotive parts manufacture and development.
